Venetian & Wooden Blinds in Mumbai
Slat by slat control — in aluminium, basswood, or faux wood.
Nothing gives finer light control than a venetian blind. Tilting the slats a few degrees changes a room from bright to shaded without moving the blind at all, and lets you keep a view at eye level while cutting the sun above it — something no roller or curtain can do.
We fit three families: 25mm aluminium for offices, kitchens, and compact windows; 50mm basswood for studies, bedrooms, and anywhere the warmth of real timber belongs; and faux wood — a PVC composite that looks like basswood but does not warp — for bathrooms, kitchens, and any window that gets driven rain during the monsoon.
Benefits
Why choose venetian & wooden?
Precise light control
Tilt the slats to shade the room while keeping the view at eye level open.
Real timber option
50mm basswood slats bring warmth that fabric blinds cannot, in stains from natural to walnut.
Faux wood for wet rooms
PVC composite slats look like timber and shrug off bathroom and kitchen humidity.
Cuts glare, keeps daylight
Angled slats throw sunlight up to the ceiling instead of onto a screen.
Sizes down to small windows
25mm aluminium fits narrow kitchen and toilet windows where a fabric blind looks bulky.

FAQs
Venetian & Wooden — common questions
They are the most dust-prone blind we sell — that is the honest trade-off for the light control. A slat duster once a fortnight handles it, and aluminium and faux wood can be wiped wet. If nobody in the house will do that, a roller or zebra blind stays looking better for longer.
Real basswood for dry rooms where you want the material to be genuine. Faux wood for kitchens, bathrooms, and monsoon-facing windows, where real timber eventually warps and the composite does not. Faux wood is also heavier, so very wide windows are usually split into two blinds.
Aluminium holds its colour indefinitely. Timber stains lighten slowly on a west-facing window over years — the same as any wood. Faux wood is UV-stabilised and sits in between.
Yes. Cordless lift and wand tilt removes the looped cord entirely, which is the safer specification anywhere small children sleep or play. We recommend it by default for nurseries.
About 2.4m in aluminium and closer to 1.8m in 50mm timber before the weight makes the lift uncomfortable. Wider openings get two or three blinds on a shared headrail so the slat lines still run through.
