Car Window Films in Mumbai

A cooler cabin, less glare — and films that stay legal.

A car parked in the Mumbai sun becomes an oven, the AC fights it for the first ten minutes of every drive, and afternoon glare makes the drive itself tiring. Modern ceramic and infrared-rejecting films fix all three by blocking heat in the infrared range — not by going dark.

That distinction matters here, because the law limits how dark car glass can be, not how much heat the film rejects. We fit films that meet the Rule 100 visible-light limits — 70% VLT on the windscreens and front side glass, 50% on rear side glass — and reject serious heat at those levels. If a shop offers you a black film for a fraction of the price, what they're selling you is a challan, not a solution.

Benefits

Why choose car window films?

Cooler cabin, faster

IR-rejecting ceramic films cut the soak-up heat, so the AC wins in minutes instead of kilometres.

Legal VLT levels

Fitted to the 70% / 50% visible light limits, so a traffic check stays uneventful.

99% UV blocked

Protects your skin on long drives and stops the dashboard and seats from cracking and fading.

Less glare, less fatigue

Cuts the harsh reflections that tire your eyes on highway and evening drives.

Signal-friendly

Non-metallic ceramic films don't interfere with FASTag, GPS, mobile signal, or the radio.

FAQs

Car Window Films — common questions

Film is legal as long as the glass still meets the Rule 100 visible-light transmission limits — 70% for the windscreens and front side windows, 50% for the rear side windows. Dark films below those levels are not, whatever the shop selling them says. Everything we fit is within the limits.

Most solar heat arrives as infrared, which is invisible. Ceramic films are engineered to reject infrared while passing visible light — which is exactly why a legal, near-clear film can still take a large share of the heat out of the cabin. We'll show you the difference under a heat lamp before you decide.

Ceramic for maximum heat rejection and zero signal interference; carbon for a good balance at a lower price. We quote both and you can feel the difference under the lamp.

Leave them up for 3–5 days while the film cures. A slight haze or small water pockets during that period are normal and clear on their own.

Yes. Factory green glass blocks some UV but very little infrared. Adding a ceramic film on top is where the real cabin temperature drop comes from — and we check the resulting VLT stays legal.
